Clear medium to dark red amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, prune, moderate yeasty, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
75 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours cloudy deep amber with a slowly collapsing tan head. Slight metallic and roasted malty aroma. Light fruity and yeasty too. Creamy prickling carbonation mouthfeel. Spiced initial flavour with a mild yeasty note. Light roasted caramel malt base. Mild mellow yeasty presence. UPDATED: JAN 29, 2007 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Dark mahogany colour, creamy head. Aroma of burnt malt and plums, Very dry, medium bodied clean mouthfeel. Heavily carbonated, roasty and burnt, feels rather hard. Besides burnt malt there are notes of viola and licorice. Salty bitterish finish. Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Many thanks to Fergus. Pours cloudy amber with a frothy tan cap. Big sugary malt nose, some toffee. Medium sweet flavor with dry bread, dried and leathery fruits. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Dry, leathery fruits on the finish, dark bread, toasty sugars. Good stuff. Quite drinkable.
