"Discover this genuine dark Trappist beer with a gentle flavour, creamy head and pronounced bouquet.
La Trappe Dubbel has a deep brown colour and attractive beige froth. The use of caramel malt gives it a gentle aromatic caramelised quality. It has a rich malty flavour with a touch of sweetness. Post-fermenting La Trappe Dubbel is a smooth drink, and yet has some real body and intense flavour to it.

23.11.2017 – Thin head on ruby red body. Present fruity yeast and sweetness. Dried cranberries beside sour cherry. Taste of biscuit. Again red dried fruits (cranberry and cherry). Like a sour cherry pie with a tart touch. Cara malts and a hint of roasted barely. Fine but lively carbo.

Bottiglia da 33cl, Milano (IT).

tomandoaltura (363) - - NOV 5, 2017
