Smooth mild malty, round. The woody port is there, mild malty. Not too much depth with light fresh dark fruity hints. Plums and wood. Great and deep woody brew.

Vanilliger Geruch. Mild herb, deutliche Noten von Vanille weich herb, zum Ende wässrige Tendenzen. Malzig vanillig bleibend, spritzig, leicht trocken. Weich, süffig, gut. 10/9/9/9/9/10

Zlotta (3563) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - DEC 10, 2016
Sampled from 0.375 l bottle. Clear, dark brownish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, raisins, vanilla and some oak. Moderately sweet, malty taste of caramel, honey, some raisins, vanilla and hints of oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, not great though.

Orange brown beer with a small white head.. I purchased this almost 5 years old beer at La Trappe. I was afraid the taste what was what metallic, but fortunately this beer ages well. Smells like fruit and whiskey. Taste is also fruity, sourish touch, whiskey, wood, caramel. Afther taste is a complex whiskey taste, which disappears quickly.

Bottle split during the nude session at my 40th bash, big thanks to Paulo for getting nekid with this rarity, 11/10/14. Rich lightly hazed amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is rich dark fruit rinds, caramel, dark maltings, toffee, light wood tunes. Taste comprises dark fruit, dates, fruit cake, leather, woody rinse, toasted brown sugar, toffee. Full bodied, lightly warming alcohol in the close. Solid BA quad.
