Last bottle found @ Willems. Brown coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a small off white head. Very clear alcoholic and fruity hinted aroma (hints of green apples and calvados) not so much port. Full palate. Finish is full malty herby and light alcoholic yeasty with a fruity ending. Very nice brew. GillesFrancois (16) - BELGIUM - DEC 18, 2011
Floral aroma, dates and figs?, poured a nice cloudy brown with frothy head. Taste starts with the port feeling slowly followed by the bitters of the beer. Liked it. Wim (4057) - Weelde, BELGIUM - DEC 11, 2011

Tried side by side with batch 3 and 6. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish-orange. Sweet aroma, like chewing gum. Starts woody-dry, then sweet-fruity again, reminds me of peaches, also mild woody notes. Malty-sweet finish. Okay!

Hazy dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of bubblegum, grassy hops, molasses, oak and coconut. Fruity sweet flavour with a bit of hot alcohol leading to a bourbon/coconut aftertaste Rasmus40 (21343) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2011
Clear dark golden amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is quite sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, yeasty and a little alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030811 mcnealc31 (255) - Elida, Ohio, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Pours an exquisite and hazy deep amber. Not much head, but a good amount of lacing. Smells of grapes, oak, and caramel. Then, there’s the taste. Sweet malt, a nudge of bitter hops, then a familiar unctuous feel and flavor that reveals the oak aging. Full, creamy, round mouthfeel without being heavy. The 10% ABV warms on the way down, but doesn’t overpower any of the magnificent flavors. Unsurprisingly, it becomes more complex and the flavors bolder as it warms.

Bottle, 375ml corked. An unclear, dark amber to brown beer with a small, light beige head leaving some lacings. The alcohol punches you in the nose, in a pleasant way though, followed by vanilla, raisins, some spice notes and a touch of anise. Caramel too. The flavor has lots of alcohol, with dried fruits, caramel and some spice hints. Really long finish. Warming, full-bodied and smooth as hell on the palate. Even though this beer is too alcoholic, it’s really lovely. The alcohol sort of fits in the picture with all the other good thins found in the beer. 110430 sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2011
