Erzengel (9893) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2018
Shared at tasting @ Koelschtrinker's place. Smooth woody malty beginning. Deep and malty in one, round and refreshing for that ABV. Smooth and deep, wood with hints of Kirsch-Schnaps, only hints of wood. The aftertaste is soft fruity, malty deep with a nice fresh woody fruity aroma. Round and nice!

Bottle 37.5cL. 11%. Purchase (La Cervoiserie, @Poitiers, FR). @Naintré, shared with my dad. A dark brown opaque beer with a small off-white foamy head ; medium retention. Roast, wood, light caramel, dried fruits (raisin), alcohol notes, vanilla. medium round sweet, lasting warming, light dry. Good body, elegant, light to medium oily texture, average carbonation, sweet woody vanilla lasting strong finish. Overall, great ! Maybe too sweet sugary ; I would like this batch again in several years.
