hazy brownish colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish off-white head; aroma of biscuit, vanilla, walnut liqueur, oak barrel, dried apricot, slight desert white wine and some alcoholic notes; taste is the same with raisins, dark chocolate and cherry (liqueur?); excellent quadrupel!

0.375l bottle thanks to Lore. Hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma and taste of orange zest, caramel, nutmeg, dark sugar, oak, toast, cherries and vanilla. The booze character is noticable, but not too strong. Awesome beer.

peponi (1805) - Hannover, GERMANY - APR 17, 2017
Aroma: kirschwasser, wet wood, vanilla, belgian notes, peach. Appearance: deep amber color and thin ceamy head. Taste: warming alcohol, kirschwasser, roasted notes, wet wood, vanilla, tanines, fruity, peachy, rather dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, barrel and alcohol in finish. Overall: Nice BA Quad, it needs some time, especially alcohol should be better covered, kirschwasser notes are really interesting.

bierkoning (13143) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - FEB 14, 2017
Fles met kurk in mooie gechenkverpakking. Dank je wel Benzai! Donkere amberkleur.

martjoobolut (4091) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 29, 2016
Bottle, 11:20 (from het biermoment). Pours amber with whiteish head. The small head stays. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, fruits, plums, cherry shnapps. Flavor is sweet and bitter, vanilla, cherry shcnapps, oak, malt, caramel, dark fruits, plums. Rather mellow, but finish has some booze. Finish has some nice dryness. Overall: very nice, nicely blanced, bit boozy tho. Has more regular version character than some other barrel versions.

Svartvit (512) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 29, 2016
Bottle shared during the November THT tasting at deansos place. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Lots of caramel, grainy, sweet malts, oak, wine characteristics, dark fruits. Flavor is over medium sweet, light bitter and a bit boozy.
