Bottle split at Leightons Cloud base, big thanks to Paulo for this R job, 05/05/15. Opaque mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is rich fruits, cake mix, spice, wood, sherry notes, dates, plums. Taste comprises rich fruit cake, dates, prunes, figs, wooded notes, spice, more sherrified notes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, lightly warming alcohol in the close. Decent offering but not top draw.

Bottle, 375ml corked. It pours an unclear, brown body and a dense, beige head. Vinous nose with lots of dried fruits and sugar, quite alcoholic too, in a nice way. Some oak hints. Wonderful flavor with a good warmth and a healthy dose of dried fruits. Sugar notes. Full-bodied, warming and sweet. Lasting warming finish with sugar, dried fruits and a fine bitterness. 110820

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Wonderfull red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hopy aroma. Barrels very present but not that well balanced. Average moderate bitter finish. woody and some vanilla notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Slightly yeasty and alcoholic.

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2015 Bottle shared at Leightons. It pours cloudy mahogany brown with minimal head. The nose is rich, sweet, juicy, vinous, plum, prune, date, toffee, vanilla, jammy, toasty and wood. The taste is smooth, slick, sweet fruits, plum, date, light alcohol, umami, cola cubes, wine and wood win a smooth finish. Medium-full body and soft carbonation. Nice depth. Great aroma and it drinks rather well also.
