Opens without a sound but pours with plenty of carbonation producing a fast head that rises and falls to a pancake that sticks. Smells of mineral, sweet malt and dried fruit. Full nectar with mild carbonation. A very malt forward brew with mild acidity. Sweetness on the tongue with nuances of dried fruit and butterscotch. The barrels are very noticeable creating a nice alternate to the usual quad. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2011
