22/XII/15 - 37.5cl bottle from Geers, Hopduvel or the monastery shop @ Tim’s Amazing La Trappe Oak Aged Series Batch 2 Through 13 Tasting - BB: n/a, blended: IV/2011 (2015-1758)

Note: after hoarding the oldest of these beers for over 5 years, I decided to crack down on them, before they disintegrate.
Clear reddish brown beer, no head. Aroma: sweet, honey, caramel, alcohol, some vanilla, little oxidized. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, quite some banana, bit sour, oxidized, caramel. Aftertaste: little spicy, banana, vanilla, some alcohol, more oxidation, alcohol.

hopdog (13249) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Caged and corked bottle. Poured a brown color with a small sized off white head. Dark fruits, wood, vanilla, and subtle white wine (not sure I would have guessed that if I did not read it first).

marcus (10869) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours murky brown with no head and a wine and molasses aroma. There is a toasty dark molasses flavor (a bit oxidized)with a sort of sweet and dry oak finish.

Draft - Vintage 2011 - Prunes, date and brown sugars. Cloudy amber with a thin head. Brown sugar, oak and dark fruit. These are sublime.
