Dark amber colour. Nice taste that balances between a subtle sweetness, fruit, very subtle bitterness and alcohol. Banana, fruity notes, yeast, cream, very subtle chocolate.

Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into a trappist glass. Appearance: Hazy red/amber colour, with small lively foam/carbonation (like a little spring). Aroma: Banana, pear, citrus, alcohol Palate: Full body, moderate carbonation with many small nibbling bubbles. Taste: Sweet, caramel, honey, banana, malt/whole grain bread, moderate bitter/sweet alcoholic aftertaste. Overall impression: Enjoyable, tasty, strong.

Pours chestnut in color with an off white lacing. The aroma is caramel and somewhat nutty, with notes of alcohol and baking spices. Its certainly not on par with Westvleteren or St. Bernardus

330 ml bottle. Rich amber slightly hazy pour. 2 finger off-white head. Aroma: lots of ripe banana, light alcohol touch, nuts, toffee. Flavour is nutty, malty, toffee, alcohol, dough. Intense in general. A bit harsh. Throat warming. Dry finish. Full body. Still rather smooth for a 10 abv brew. An interesting experience.
