Bottle conditioned.
La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

Rich sweet, butterscotch nose. Similar up front flavour with a touch of fruitcake spice and jaffa. Commercial but drinks well....

Prijemna neagresivna pivova vona. Krasna zlta farba. Nadherna husta sladkasta chut.

Bottle. Hazy orange beer with minimal white head. Aroma of fruits, apricot, peach, pear, some banana, yeast, notes of spice, clove. Taste is medium sweet and light+ bitter, of apricot, pear, spice, phenol, yeast, light banana. Spicy and fruity finish. Medium body and carbonation. Quite complex and harmonious tripel. Very good after a few months of cellaring.

Butelka 330 ml. Klasyka gatunku. Tylko 8% ABV jak na tripla. Świetny aromat i smak drożdżowy - uwielbiam.

Bottle in merken, holland. Light orange color, big white head. Aroma is big malts with lots of yellow fruit, i feel wheat maybe because of the huge flavor of banana and citrus and yeast typical of weizenbock. Light spice, almond. Taste is sugary with a decent balance, hops is a bit subtle sadly. Creamy texture, proper carbonation, finish is quite long, yeasty super smooth with a burning alcoholic dryness. Delicious tripel and personal preference, good good good.

Backlog, had a few bottles of this in NL and home the last 10 years or so. This rating is from 2010, Bottle shared with Pat. Pours an amber color with a smaller sized head. Notes of dark cherry, honey, fig, plum, blackberry, vanilla and wood. Really complex tripel from the Dutch brewer.
