UPDATED: NOV 19, 2017 Draft to taster at Dutch's from recent notes (9/20). Pours a hazy pale golden yellow with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, wheat, tart citrus, orange, some green character, ok, not very exciting. thanatosti (1866) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2017
75 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn Culemborg.
Lightly hazy pale yellow with a big white head. Yeasty hoppy aroma with citrus. Sweet sour taste with prickly carbonation. Actually very balanced and elegant. MMR (832) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2017
Good witbier. Very nice soft texture and a somewhat sweet light fruit/sour aroma. mike_77 (7369) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUL 29, 2017
Straw blond with light soapy head. Aroma and flavour have some citrusy notes and light banana sweetness. Clean and refreshing. Gangstergafje (1384) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2017
18-05-2017; fles; at home (bought at Albert Heijn Capelle a/d IJssel, The Netherlands).
The looks of the beer are nice. It is a typical witbeer look. The color is a pale yellow, with somehow a tiny greenish hint. The beer is a bit cloudy, but not entirely. You can still see trough it a littlest. The beer bubbles happily. On top there is a nice layer of soft white foam. Foam retention is quite good.
The smell of the beer is nice. I smell some familiar witbier aromas. I smell nice lovely aroma’s of delicate, sweet and soft malts, nice yeast touches of some banana and delicious hop aroma’s of citrus, some orange or mandarine and nice coriander. I like it. It is delicate and filled with familiar witbier aromas.
The taste is also nice. There is a nice sweet maltiness, bitter hops and nice spicy yeast touches. It is pretty much the same as the smell. It is well balanced. I like it.
The palate is good. Medium body, smooth and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer isn’t very long. There is some alcohol, koriander and citrus zest. Not bad. I like this beer. Good celebration edition.

Very cloudy yellow beer, big solid creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very yeasty, quite some banana, sweet, bit fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet start, pretty bitter, some citrus, banana, grassy,s lghtly sourish, malty sweetness. Aftertaste: bitter hops, banana, bit sweet, caramel, malty, little spicy. Should’ve gotten more aroma hops / dry hopping to emphasise the difference with the regular one. They’ve been a bit cheap on the hops. :p

(La Trappe Witte Trappist Koningsdag Editie) Bottle 750ml at home, corked and caged, served into a shaker, ABV 5.5%
Bright yellow colour on the body, mostly clear, with lots of activity in the glass and a huge white soapy head on top.
Aroma of coriander seeds, citrus, some tangerine.
Taste of wheat, coriander, orange.
Medium thin body.
Nice thirst-quencher, not much different than the original version in my opinion. Inoven (1068) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2017
Flesje gedeeld tijdens proeverijtje. Bleek gelig bier met matig schuim. Aroma van hooi. Weinig smaak en nasmaak. Benzai (16993) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2017
Bottle @ home shared by TomHendriksen. A bit unclear very pale yellow golden color, small white head. Aroma is lightly weed, but at the same time quite refreshing. Taste lightly malts, wheat, lightly hop, some bitter hop in the distance, lightly citrussy in the distance. Quite refreshing.
