Shared with Chopz at Ottawa brewpub. Pours a thick frothy head and has a golden appearance. Aromas are really strong citrus hops, yeast and malts. Flavours are somewhat different with a lot of sweetness involved here coming from the cane sugar and brown sugar. Also some barley malts, citrus and herbal hops I find. Tangy and tarty mouthfeel, especially in the finish. The sweetness for me is a bit too overwhelming. Not too bad still but just too sweet for my tastes. Pours a hazy golden orange from a bottle. Some good Belgian yeast aroma, and initial sweet flavour is cleared by a zesty finish BlackHaddock (7572) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2016
Flip-top 750ml bottle on 7th Sep 2016 at the monthly Shrewsbury tasting in Chez Sophie. Cloudy old gold body, full white head. The aroma had a yeasty note or two alongside some tropical fruit esters: taste followed the same lines, slightly yeasty and fruity in nature. Fairly sweet, so my sweet tooth liked it. minutemat (5938) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2016
75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 16, courtesy of BlackHaddock. Many thanks. Pours hazy gold, large frothy white head. Aroma is familiar sweet blond yeast. Taste is fairly light on triple flavours, rather a session triple with moderately soft doughy yeast and faint spicy hop notes. A bit uninspiring, but I could quaff a full bottle in the heat no problem. vipinvelp (4510) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2015
Somewhat opaque light amber, off white lasting lacing foam head. Not too strong sweet aroma, slightly sweet taste, typical tripel. (Lille 201507)

Bottle from Les 3 Brasseurs Lille. Amber hazy with very rich off-white head. Yeasty aroma. Yeasty sweet with flower notes and bitter taste, certain sourness. Not bad, but something is missing in comparison with richer taste of Belgian tripels. Bamsen78 (5539) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2014
Bottle @ the brewpub in Reims. Pours very slightly hazy amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with notes of fruit. Sweetish, estery flavour with citric notes and touches of hops and fruit. High carbonation. Boozy; feels like more than the ABV stated on the label. Estery aftertaste with notes of malt. Drinkable but boring and non-memorable. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - APR 22, 2014
Yellow to light golden body and white head. Simple and dusty pilsner malts, white sugar, not clean yet also not very rustic. Yeast in the bottle lifts this but it doesn’t hide the inherit boring beer underneath. (33cl bottle brought at the brewery in Orléans) MartinT (10037) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 21, 2013
My Bottom Line:GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 26, 2013
Oranges, doughy yeast and alcohol are led by fierce bubbling to a moderate spicy hop bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam settles atop the translucent amber.
-The finish is a bit uninspiring. More bready, some alcohol, some vaguely spicy hoppiness.
-The nose is nicely hoppy, but the hop flavor and finish are quite vague. Nothing bright is happening on that front.
-If I were in France, I’d be happy to find a beer like this. But with Dominus Vobiscum Triple, Fin du Monde, Dunham XXX, etc. available here in Quebec, there is no need for me to seek out this 3 Brasseurs Tripel.
-This is not a bad beer at all; there are simply many more compelling examples of the style in this province.
Appearance:light hazy amber,mega huge head...
