Very impressed, although label say it is an American Pale Ale, I thought it was more on the IPA side. Excellent beer. Took that one over supper on the 150th anniversary.

I feel like this review needs an asterisk because the bottling date on the bottom of the can says Sept 28, 2015. Nice dark gold/burnt orange pour with a persistent foamy cap. Nose is very faint citrus/pine hops, faintly floral, on a nice fruity, bready malt canvas. Taste is crisp and balanced, with a clean, moderately bitter finish. This stuff is more like an EPA/Pilsner hybrid - but it's also been sitting on a shelf for nine months apparently. Would like to try this fresh. This is the fourth beer I've tried from these guys, and while none blew me away, they were all decent or better. Definitely promising. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is an American style ipa, not and English ipa. This isn’t a good example of American ipa, but it has no English characteristics at all. Pine resins and light citrus. Some toffee, aromas, and bready malts. Mediocre at best.

Can shared. Clear gold pour with rich lacy white head. Aroma is grassy, peppery, some rye perhaps?, nice and grassy, light caramel notes. Taste is bitter, very dry and grassy, leafy hops, light caramel. Palate is med bodied with good carbonation. Easy drinking.

Pours hazy gold with a moderate frothy white top. Aroma is cereal malt with some sweetness and citrus and pine hops. Taste is much the same, moderate bitterness and nice body. English style it is not. That is why is says American Pale Ale on the can which it is.

473 ml can. Pours a clear yellow-orange golden with a resilient white head. Aroma is grapefruit and lime. Flavor is grains, some roast, grapefruit. Finish is grapefruit, lime, lemon. Nice lingering bitterness. Medium body, soft mouthfeel and average carbonation.
