4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear orange color with medium head. Malty citrus aromas. Medium sweetness and light bitter and sour taste.
A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light treacle and honey, a bit oxidized. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light raisins, vinous character, curacao, grassy hops, oxidized but still decent. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 29, 2014
500ml bottle purchased at La Trappe a Fromage in Gatineau, Quebec. Rich golden in colour with a thin but lasting white head, good lacing. The aroma is of citrus, yeast, oranges and spices. The flavour is yeasty upfront, lots of spice, oranges, quite floral. Spicy mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, spicy and yeasty. I like this. A Fantome with a great Quebec twist. Fred182 (305) - valleyfield, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 11, 2013
Bouteille de 500ml, robe ambrée, arôme de pain grillé, en bouche, c’est un mariage entre le caramel et les céréales. BeerGolem (829) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 31, 2012
Bottle 500 ml. Pours amber with a great lasting white head. Aroma: spices (coriander), earthy and bubblegum. Taste is sweet with a really light bitterness. Refreshing beer. Good saison. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
500 ml bottle. Pours a clear, copper-colored amber with a resilient white head. Smells like mint and ginger. Tastes very spicy, like pepper and pepperint, with a touch of caramel and ripe pear. Very spicy finish, lingering sweet taste. Medium-bodied, carbonation might be a bit strong...Excellent spicy ale. Loved it.

Bottle 500 ml. Pours clear pale amber/orange with a little white head. Some lacing. Nose is full of spices and malt. There’s also slight notes of fruits. Taste is sweet, spicy and earthy. A bit thin tho. Medium-long duration of the aftertaste. Can’t describe the aftertaste, but I don’t like it (mix of phenol, spices, and vegetable?). Overall: Beautiful nose, but the taste doesn’t deliver. This beer do have a good basis, but it need some adjustments. And it really doesn’t smell/taste like a Saison. blankboy (7780) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2012
Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o HogTownHarry. Labeled as ’La Graincheuse Ambrée’. Pours a clear golden-orange with a massive lasting fizzy white head. Aroma of ginger, Quebec yeast, citrus, spices, some light banana, other fruit and more. Pleasant flavour (7+) of yeast, spices, herbs, fruit, ginger and more, literally a Rousse mixed with a Sasion. Medium bodied. Quite a surprise, I really liked this. garthicus (2939) - Dublin, IRELAND - FEB 1, 2012
Thanks to HogTownHarry. Appearance: light orange, huge thick snow white head that retains throughout. Aroma: minty, ginger, coriander, Quebec yeast, lemon. Flavour: Alcohol and Quebec yeast, tangy lemon, caramel, boozy, a little clove and lemon yeast in the finish.

500ml bottle shared with blankboy and garthicus. Clear refractive light amber with a huge and lasting fluffy off-white head. That "Quebec" aroma - sharp dry yeast, a bit of pear and a hint of banana and orange zest; a bit boozy. Taste - quite a surprise - very floral, tons of fruit, like a light weizen - a fair bit of alcohol ... nice. Average slick body, light carbonation, a little dry and spicy in the finish. Nice - like a grassy, lighter hefe with extra alcohol. rockyluke (3) - Métabetchouane, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 18, 2012 does not count
Belle couleur, belle mousse et bonne effervescence. Gout de levure tirant vers l’orange. Bonne équilibre. Trop d’attaque sur la langue.
