Ultra-bland golden ale, a perfect complement to Labatt’s line of ultra-bland golden lagers.

Bottle in sampler set from Sam’s. Poured golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium sweet grassy hoppy aroma. Medium body with lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met. Lubiere (13954) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 13, 2007
A golden ale with a thin white head. A typical lager aroma. But in mouth, the malt is present, and there are some hops in this. Very pleasant for a Labatt product. Jan. 2007. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2005
Decided to give this one a shot because of a $1.00 price tag for a single. I guess I got my money’s worth. Pours a clear golden color with mild bubbles. Medium thin white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is vaguely sweet with nothing really distinguishing itself. Light-bodied with a pretty bland flavor of mild hops and sweet corn. Luckily nothing offensive in there. The finish is crisp, dry and pretty much flavorless aside from the faintest hops bitterness. All said, it’s a Labatt by any other name. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 27, 2013
