This ale poured a crystal clear, light yellow colour with a decent, bright white head. Scents include corn, bread and hay. First sip was as thin as gasoline. No body at all. Flavours weak of light grain and hop. Very light bitterness to the finish. Drinkable but common corporate slop.

Light blond beer, one of the only Labatts I enjoy. The dirty grain flavour is never stale, the hops are not bright but add some crispness, light bodied, a stiff and dry alternative to Blue/Canadian.

Bright straw color with storming activity. Slightly creamy white 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with good legs. Flavors of sweet grains, barley, caramel, corn, faint skunk, herbal spices. Thick malt sweetness, a little syrupy, with faint bitter hops. Oily full body with moderate carbonation. Light finish, lingering malty cereal feel, sugar cane, and faint hops. Good freshness, the flavors are okay, although feels a little adjunct. Too much sugars and a bit flat. Seriously one of the best that Labatt can offer, with a tradition over here saying that its even drinkable at room temperature. Overall below average quality craft.

Another upstate NY/Ontario staple. About .50 a serving and decent with food. Not exactly a beer geeks beer but its refreshingly dry and completely non-offensive.

The beer of my youth and I loved their hats. Nothing extraordinary and was a commercially brewed that I was a bit more bitter then blue.

Pours pale gold with a fast fading white head. Aroma is grain, corn and grass. It has a light body and medium carbination. I bought this purely for nostalgic reasons, wish I could have found it on a stubby rather than a can.

Can. Not only did I buy a can of this beer, I bought it at Rogers Centre so I paid $12 for it! Yeah, they classify it as a Domestic Premium beer. What a joke!! I mean its not terrible, but there is nothing here to make me want another one.

Enjoyed in many variations (can, draft) but for this one, poured from bottle. Pours a fairly large head and dissipates pretty quickly. Has a pale yellow/golden colour. Ok lacing. A pretty faint hoppy aroma, mostly wheats and grains. Well balanced hoppy and malty flavours. Somewhat grainy on the finish. Borderline watery mouthfeel but with a bit of creaminess and good retention. A perfect above average abv session beer. My go-to NFL Sunday beer.

Can from sobeys. Pours golden with no real head. Aromas of corn and barley. Some metallic notes. Taste is grainy and sweet. No corn or metallics in the taste. Not terrible.

Aroma is honey caramel and sulphur. Taste is bland malts and basic bittering hops. Finishes flat. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that dissipates quickly.
