1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Small pour from an 1.18 L bottle, huge thanks to Franky Boy!
Malt Liquor tick... finally.
Clear golden with a small quickly disappearing white head, some lacing. Aroma of herbal/grass, alcohol, corn and slight caramel. Taste is herbal and of alcohol, corn, adjuncts (not that bad). Thin mouthfeel. Not as horrible as I thought it would be.
Beurslak! (1971-9210916) Homer321 (5190) - Melboring, Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2015
Can from Patrick. Thanks! Nose is pretty corny, moderately apple. Taste is the same. Mostly Apple and corn. DrewFace (969) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2015
Likka share thanks to Homer321. Faint aroma overall, light corny, husky. Dark yellow color. Bland, light sweet malty and corny character. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 8, 2015
Bottle @ Hotel. Clear golden pour with a tall, soapy white head. Lots of pear, apple, and white grape on the nose. Typical cereal sweetness, light grass, and some straw. Not terrible. Flavor is pretty decent as well. Fairly sweet pale lager, basically. Fairly heavy on the apple and pear. Lots of corn flakes as well. Could crush a few of these.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color beer with a pure white foamy head with limited retention and almost no lacing. Aroma of sweet adjunct notes with quite a bit of residual sugars. Taste is also dominated by adjunct notes with light sweet finish. Body is light with medium carbonation. Not as bad as I had expected but again not something I would seek again. hellonearth (153) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 27, 2013
DietPepsican (1589) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - SEP 28, 2012
BLACKIPA!!!! Gold pour, small white head. Caramel, dough, alcohol, grapes, pear, and a bit of herbal hops. Very clean finish, lightly sweet, great carbonation. A true masterpiece. Metalchopz (3518) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 18, 2012
Originally rated October 2005. Bought this one in a single can at a convenient store in Montreal. Comes in a very nice simple designed 355mL can, which is all silver with blue writting and huge barcodes. Pours a golden honey colour with a big white foamy head, composed of tiny bubbles. The lacing left is very good, all over. Retention is pretty damn good too. Lively carbonation is medium in bubble size. The scent is malty with touches of herbs. After breathing, alcohol and corn comes out. Lightly-bodied mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a mix of honey and malt to then finish smoothly with some light hop and corn. Kind of dry finish with alcohol very well hidden. Gets the job done though.
