11.5 oz bottle One of the twelve beers of Christmas 2016 The pale lager poured a clear gold color with a small head that quickly disappeared. There is no lacing. Labatt calls this beverage a Canadian Pilsener. The aroma is malty or bread like. I can not detect any hops. The lager has a light body with soft carbonation. The finish is sweet but clean. This is probably a good beer for watching ice hockey.

Drunk from the 12 oz. bottle. The aroma is bubblegum, corn syrup, and bread dough. Sweet and syrupy, with only a touch of bitterness. Light body, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. This is a fair lager.

(1994-091016)

Bottle. Retro rating. Poured golden with an average white head. Aroma of light malt, hint of citrus, and grass. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Fairly light body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation. Light bitterness to finish.

24 oz can. (Karvakko’s Market) Tapiola, MI.
Clear pale golden color with a small white head. Malt, starch and mild papery dryness in the aroma. The flavor is dry papery malt, dryness and rice. Watery. Awful.

Your typical canadian mass produced lager. I would have trouble distinguishing it from Kokanee.

I poured it from a bottle into a pint glass. It pours golden with a fizzy, white head and lacing. The aroma was skunky with hints of corn. The taste was skunky corn. The carbonation was nice. The skunkiness of this one made it something I wouldn’t go out of my way to have again.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2016 Bottle at a wedding. Pours a very clear pale golden with no head and no lacing. Nose is very exclusive to corn I would say. Taste is dry and of corn with a very light bitterness. Body is light, carbonation high and prickly and mouthfeel is watery. Refreshing. lol

Just a good basic beer Straw like in color with a thin white head Pretty bland in taste. Goes down easy and smooth. Good summer beer.

I got this at Friar Tucks. Pours gold with a white head. Taste lightly sweet, grain, plain macro lager. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
