Average beer. Not skunky. Lt gold color, small head. Light tasting pilsner. Not very hoppy, some citrus. Mouthfeel is slightly hoppy. Crisp and refreshing. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Bottle. It was a clear gold with a white head with a nice lacing. Malty aroma with a corn/grain head.

34 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow. Small white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy. Straw, light grassy. Cornish. Subdued sweet, grainy finish.

Bottle to glass. Transparent golden pour with white head. Not much scent. Taste has some apple in addition to the usual. Reminds me of sitting on an island in Canada.

Bottle from Beer Frog Spring Hill. Pours a clear straw yellow with a pillowy white head. Nose is bready malt with a mild and grassy bitterness - lots of floral with a mild fruit character. Light malt, light floral bitterness, and the mildest of fruity flavors in the back. Light in body and better than I thought it would be.

For a moment, I was impressed! This is a very crisp and well-balanced pilsener. Biscuit malt base with some floral and the ever so slight stone fruit character. Before I knew it the sixer had disappeared on me.

Kauge (1976) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 24, 2017
Bottle at Tartu College cafeteria, Toronto. Jeez that’s bad. Very pale fizzy yellow, sweet papery malts in aroma and flavour, soft to moderately crisp on the palate. Ugh. A rather typical - I guess I can now say that - cheap American-style PL. These things tend to have much more and better flavour in Europe as far as I’ve witnessed.

Skarecrow (775) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 24, 2017
330ml bottle Pale straw with good head and carbonation. Aroma is grainy/corn. Slight bitterness but thin with clean finish. OK lager for quaffing.

Poured from can into pint glass. Pours a very clear yellow with a fizzy head that disappears quickly, Aroma is light corn. slight bread taste, very watery, I’m a Hockey Fan so I wanted the can. Would drink if this was the only beer available.

Foxbush (2039) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 28, 2016
11.5 oz bottle One of the twelve beers of Christmas 2016 The pale lager poured a clear gold color with a small head that quickly disappeared. There is no lacing. Labatt calls this beverage a Canadian Pilsener. The aroma is malty or bread like. I can not detect any hops. The lager has a light body with soft carbonation. The finish is sweet but clean. This is probably a good beer for watching ice hockey.
