11.5 ounce bottle, no bottle date. A friend gave me a bottle to try. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a burnt orange/brown color with an inch off-white head. The head sticks around a while, and there isn’t much lacing. The brew smells like toasted and bready malt, toffee, and nuts. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also some herbalness and a light apple flavor too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit coating with moderate carbonation. Not a bad brew, worth a try if you can pick up a single somewhere.

Bottle thanks to blackipa, pours a light clear brown, syrupy taste with a light coco and nut taste, it was pretty light but highly drinkable

Bottle. Aroma is nutty sugar brown. Pour is a regular brown but very clear. Taste is honey on the lips, lifetime on the hips.

Bottle in NH. Pours clear, light brown with a fine, creamy tan head. Light doughy brown bread in the nose, faint leaves. Light to medium sweet flavor, mild bready malts, mellow leafy bitterness, faint dried berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple finish, basic lightly toasted malts, leaves, berries, hints of cocoa. It’s pretty acceptable.

12 oz bottle from the four type variety case. Weak, insipid and anemic. The low cost of the case explains everything.

Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear, deep reddish brown appearance with a lbrown head. A bit nutty, bland, toasted malty, corny aroma. Thin, metallic, weird fake nutty, a bit watery flavor. Drinkable but certainly not very good.

11.5oz bottle. Poured a deep amber, watery brown, with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of roast, toasty, and some caramel. Tastes follow with some nuttiness. Thinner body.

Nice brown ale, again thin like the others on this collection. A little bit of smoke in the flavor.
