I don’t know if it’s the palate or the pride that makes me love this beer so much. Northern Ontario has much love for this beer and not too many others. I don’t know if it’s because I was raised on this stuff or it’s actually delicious... but i love it!

Friend who loves this stuff insisted I drink it. I obliged. Pretty run of the mill lager for the masses. Not much to say.

Strangebrewer (1372) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 2, 2014
bottle. Poured clear light amber with a chunky white head. Sweet grassy aroma. Light body, boring mouthfeel, almost flat with a sticky finish. Grainy flavour, pale malts with faint herbal hops.

So this is nothing special. Pours golden with foamy white head. Faint grain aromas and flavors. That’s it.

11.5 oz bottle 12/00 Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of the same. This lught bodied brew is another subpar product from Labatt.

JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2012
Pale straw pour. The aroma is loghtly grainy with a very faint grassy aroma as well. Light bodied - tending to watery. Simple pale lager - not bad as these things go. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally rated June 2005. Been wanting to try this brew for quite a while now. Always reminded me of a trashy beer. Pours a golden colour with average carbonation. Decent head, but does not last long. Sweet malt nose and same goes for the mouth. Slight bitterness in there. Not bad swill, but probably is some other brew the Labatt’s makes and puts it in these bottles.

341ml bottle pours a pale golded color with a finger and a half of white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing on the glass. Aroma is light malts and grassy hops. Taste is light malt sweet and clean hoppy bitter finish. Standard macro lager.

Preservative free, you can kind of taste that. If you can get over that initial slightly sour taste you can really enjoy it. My favourite by far.

Spab (4218) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2011
341 ml bottle from Beer Store. Pours a clear light golden yellow with a white head that quickly disappears to virtually nothing. Aroma is stale grains and a little grass. Taste also has a certain staleness to it with grains and grass. As light a body as would be expected. Weak but there are a lot of worse macro lagers out there.

nefarious (220) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - DEC 15, 2008
Every time I go to Canada I make sure this is one of the brew I pick up. Its just a good macro lager. Nothing special aweful aroma and and almost completely clear with a strawn and cereal flavor. Goes down like water. MMMMMMMMMMMM
