11.5 ounce bottle, a friend gave this to me recently. Served in a mug, the beer pours a clear copper color with an inch off-white head that stays around a while. There’s also a good amount of lacing. Not much to the aroma at all, just some bready malt and toffee. Luckily the taste is stronger. The brew tastes like bready malt, caramel, toffee and a bit of fruit (mostly apple). Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit creamy and slick with moderate carbonation. I thought it was an OK brew, I wouldn’t turn one down. On the other hand, I don’t think I’d pay for one either. Bottle. Pours a clear, light brown. Weak aroma of sweet oats. Taste is similarly weak. Not offensive but not good. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 21, 2014
Bottle, pours brown, taste was very syrupy, a carmel, some bread and cereal notes. Overall decent Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2013
Bottle in a hotel room in NH. Pours clear, copper gold with a fine, foamy white head. Pretty poor. Lots of sugary, bready malts, some metallic tang, caramel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with metallic bite, bread, mild tangy berries. Poor. MacBoost (1898) - Victor, New York, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Pours a clear amber with a white head that sticks around for a while. Aromas of some sweet corn, some toffee. Taste is pretty bland...toffe flavored amber water with carbonation. Uninspired. No cigarette butt notes offered. Meh. Finishes semi-sweet with a solid hit of macro adjunct manufacturing.

12 oz bottle from the four type variety case. Weak, insipid and anemic. The low cost of the case explains everything. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Corny, cardboard, sweet fruity macro product aroma. Some caramel and toast in the flavor along with a touch of butter. Tastes kind of similar to the Michelob specialty series where they attempted to do interesting styles but most just tasted like corn. Molson Golden blows this away. generallee08 (772) - New York, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 11.5oz. bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a dark golden to light amber color with a small white head. This heads fades quickly leaving only a thin ring of foam around the edge of the glass. Lacing is non-existent.
Smell: There is only a faint wisp of malt with some spicy and grassy hops.
Taste/Palate: The flavor has a light to medium body with very light roasted malt character that bring just a slight touch caramel like sweetness over a plain cereal like base. This is cut with some light grassy hop flavor and bitterness. It finishes light.
Notes: Overall there is nothing too far off but it came up a bit light for me and I wouldn’t recommend this one.

11.5 oz bottle (’limited edition’ bottling). Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Aromas of yeast, toasted grains, and I was getting some citrus/fruitiness. Tastes of the same. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 26, 2012
A pretty thin marzen that has a little bit of munich malt flavor and very light hopping.
