COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redzesloku paplašinošs miežvīns. Cukurgailīti atgādinošo iesalainumu papildina vaivariņu, priežu pumpuru un Centennial apiņu svķainais rūgtums, kurš sevī ieskauj miežvīnam atbilstošā alkohola daudzuma sīvumu. Teicams alus ilgstošai briedināšai.

"Magic Forest"
A malty barley wine with distinct caramel backbone, that evens out the high alcohol content and the resinous bitterness of wild rosemary, pine spruce and Centennial hops. Perfect for further aging.

0,5 flaske på RBHD-samling, Bjørnøy jan-18: lett uklar rødlig rav med flott skum som varer. Granskudd, rosmarin og andre urter. Mørk karamell i den solide maltkroppen. Kvae og alkohol. I råeste laget for meg.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 26.01.18. Clear orange amber. Uneven, but persistent, off-white head and lacing. Perfectly balanced aroma and taste of red berries, dates and fermented fruits. Might have done with some more maturing.

Shared 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 11.4%, Deep brownish red colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts and over-ripe red berries, notes of herbs. Sweet malty flavour, distinct notes of strange herbs, some bittering hops in the finish. Weird, but interesting.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Pours dark rusty red, nice tanned head. Smell of herbs, dark malts, dark fruits, hints of toast, quite complex and inviting. Heavy sweet, quite herbal, pine neeedles, othere forrest flavors, nice malt presence, toast, caramel, dark fruits, dried fruits, very enjoyable. Moderate bitter

Draft at The Alehouse, Zurich. Pours clear dark amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is malty, with caramel and toffee notes. Taste follows nose with rosemary and spruce notes. Unique and interesting.

Jultsu (1374) - Gromnik, POLAND - NOV 17, 2017
BBE 01.2022. Mustanruskea väri, olematon reunavaahto. Tuoksu maustepurkkia nuuhkiva. Suutuntumassa vain ja ainoastaan kurkkua polttavaa ruokamaustetta, ilmeisesti rosmariinia. Viinapohja, kuivaavahko, katajanmarjaisa kuivahko. Outo. Yksinuottinen viinapommi. Ehkä pehmenisi 5 vuoden kypsyttelyn jälkeen. Ehkä ei kiinnosta tarpeeksi ottaa selvää.

Rune (14270) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 15, 2017
330ml bottle with a nice design, kindly shared by Snegurochka and TheCellarer. Clear red-brown body, remaining beige head, clingy lacing. Caramel nose added by spices and earth. Honeyed malts to the taste buds alongside moments of spices and herbal fruits, jam like impression. Smooth and warming end. Full bodied. Decent sipper qualities. (Session in Tårnrommet with Finn, TheCellarer and Snegurochka, Tromsø 14.11.2017).

Flaske 330ml spandert av Snegurochka & TheCellarer. Delt med dem & Rune på Tårnrommet 14 Aug 17. Veldig mørk amber. Lavt skum. Aroma av mørke plommer & krydder. Smaken søt frukt & kanel. Svisker i avslutninga. Variert. Alkoholen godt integrert.

[email protected] Alehouse - very hazy brown beer with a poor head retention; aroma of pine needles, rosmary and red fruits marmalade; very sweet ...no: hugely sweet! quite tart, astringent and very piney; light spicy finish with apparent alcohol
