COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Devil’s Washtub - North Coast IPA
A mysterious malty beer brewed with four hops and four malts. Swirl it around and solve the taste mystery of this Dark North Coast IPA.
The Devil’s Washtub is an enigmatic rocky inlet on the east side of Ramore Head where the sea rushes around the rocks with the ebb and flow of the tides.
1588 - The Spanish galleass, ’The Girona’, wrecked upon Lacada Point on the North Coast of Ireland, spilling her treasure into the briny depths.
1967 - The Spanish treasures were recovered - amongst them the glorious, ruby encrusted Golden Salamander.
2015 - Lacada Brewery, a community owned co-operative, reveals more hidden treasures from the North Coast. Our beers are all brewed, named, illustrated and designed by co-owners. Enjoy...

A nice red/dark brown colour with small brown head. Great hoppy taste. Right up my street. Had a bottle with bbq. Loved every second and wish i had a second and third and etc. etc.

500 ml bottle. BB 28/Oct/2017. From a trade with Beersiveknown. Thanks a lot Steve!
Dark reddish brown color with a small tan head. Dry dark fruits, some hoppy bitterness and sweetish malt in the aroma. The flavor is dark fruity hops, mild bitterness and dark malt. Surprisingly dark for a North Coast IPA.

Benzai (16569) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2017
Bottle shared with Niilstrong @ hotelroom. Brown color with a deep dark mahogany red glare coming through when held into the light, medium sized beige head. Aroma is not very IPA-ish imo. Flavor too doesn’t have what I expect it to have. It’s more of a hoppy brown ale. Gets better after a couple of sips. Ok beer.

Dervock (1421) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 30, 2016
Bottle - pours deep dark ruby. Aroma is dried fruit, chocolate and burnt sugar. The aroma transitions into the taste, sweet with a dry fruit sweet finish.
