Dark reddish brown color with a small tan head.
Dry dark fruits, some hoppy bitterness and sweetish malt in the aroma.
The flavor is dark fruity hops, mild bitterness and dark malt.
Surprisingly dark for a North Coast IPA.
Bottle shared with Niilstrong @ hotelroom. Brown color with a deep dark mahogany red glare coming through when held into the light, medium sized beige head. Aroma is not very IPA-ish imo. Flavor too doesn’t have what I expect it to have. It’s more of a hoppy brown ale. Gets better after a couple of sips. Ok beer. Dervock (1512) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 30, 2016
Bottle - pours deep dark ruby. Aroma is dried fruit, chocolate and burnt sugar. The aroma transitions into the taste, sweet with a dry fruit sweet finish.
