Bottle - pours copper with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt with burnt sugar and citrus. Taste is malty up front with a dry burnt sugar finish. Lively palate.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is bready malts, orange peel, straw, grains, light spice. Taste comprises bitter citric shreds, tangerine, toasted grains, airy malts, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average golde ... a little harsh in places.

Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 2 07/08/2016. Many thanks to Steve I’ve known. A hazed golden caramel brown coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is grassy brambles, grainy, harsh grains. Flavour is composed of apple, grainy, moderate carbonation, brown malts, jammy. Palate is frothy, highish carbonation. Decent.

August 2016 - Bottle share at Chriso’s Sunday Shindig. Thanks! As ’Lacada Summertime Sorley’. Hazy orange, sparkling, foamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee apple, honey. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is light pear and apple, supporting toffee malts, grassy into the finish. Decent. (3.4)

straight forward lightly citrussy malt led pale ale. As with the regular sorley this would benefit from some more dry hopping.

Chris and Ruth’s Shindig 2016, Sunday. Hazy golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, grapes, citrus, grapes, some hay. Malty grape flavor, citrus, hay, floral notes. Ok.
