12 oz. bottle from the brewery; pours clear dark orange with foamy white head lingering as bubbles along the edges; aromas of sweet grapefruit, tangerines, white sugar and oranges; very fruit nose overall; thin-ish texture with sugary fruits and very little hop bitterness except for the obvious dryness in the finish; malty sugars, fruity hops and light oranges; on draft at the brewpub it seemed much more full and hoppy with an unfiltered and lighter orange appearance Beerlando (3343) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2010
12oz. bottle. Pours a medium golden-orange amber color with a small, quickly fading head of smooth, off-white foam. Scattered, random spots of lacing dot the glass. The aroma is of toasted cereal grain and light toffee in the malt base, with ample notes of grapefruit, orange blossom, and some pine hop character. Flavors follow suit, again simple and well balanced, but far from exciting. The grainy malt base is fairly dry, which I appreciate, as it shows just a touch of sweetness and allows what would otherwise be a rather muted grapefruit hop profile to at least show some degree of prominence. Even keeled on the tongue, the body is on the lighter side, shy of medium bodied, though it shows a smoothness throughout and a semi-dry finish. Pretty decent, but nothing more. Average, balanced IPA. deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 30, 2010
Bottle thanks to Suzygreenberg! Pours a hazy orange with a slight amber hue and a medium off-white/gray head. Aroma is earthy with notes of grass, pine and a bit of bread. Flavor has a nice combination of grass and bread notes. Fred82 (2332) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 29, 2010
12oz bottle thanks to suzygreenbergscrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Appearance : Clear bright yellow with medium head. Some lacing not much.
Aroma : Highly citric even a bit tart. Grass and hay. This is quite unexpected but really awesome. Hints of caramel.
Taste : Citric with some hops. Grassy with a bit of hay. Finish is rather dry and slightly bitter. Very crisp.
Overall : Quite unusual IPA to me. I’m even wondering if I had a good "bad bottle" !. Very dry and amazingly refreshing. Easy drinking yet very tasty. I could drink this all day by the pool. Gets a bit sweeter as it heats up. I preferred it cold. Really nice stuff. Thanks so much Ben !
Dry grassy aroma, some pepper. Soft clear gold, thin white head. Light in body, a little honeysuckle, dry grassy clean finish.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells perfumy and dry. Tastes crisp and resiny with some floral grassy hints on the finish. captaincass (45) - Everson, Washington, USA - MAY 31, 2009
tastes like a belgian style ale. can taste a little cascade hops but mostly cloves, banana. pretty dissappointing ale its by no means an ipa on any level, this is closer to a northwest tripel but not an ipa. jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 7, 2009

Floral hops aroma. Cloudy, yellow/orange colour, off-white head, fair lace. Light sweet, pretty bitter, light floral notes, hoppy grassy finish. Biting my lips, maybe a bit thin. Balanced, refreshing, flavourful.
On tap at the brewpub, enjoyed with my girlfriend and lots of other seemingly cool folks sitting throughout the pub. My 234th IPA rate, still # 1, I-Chi-Ro! I-Chi-Ro! Nice aroma that reminded me a bit of a toned down Surly Furious. Hints of lime, grapefruit, and floral hops. Toasty caramel malt undertones. Poured orange-golden with a nice head and good lacing. Nice citrus tones, not harsh or astringent, but pleasantly fruity. Grapefruit, lemon, softer sweet caramel and toast. Lingering crisp citrus notes as opposed to resiny bitterness. Really nice drinking almost quenching juicy IPA. anders37 (27898) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 1, 2008
Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white ead. Has a malty pine hoppy aroma with some grapefruit hints. Malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with some hints of pine needles. Long hoppy bitter finish with hints of grapefruit and a hoppy bitter aftertaste.
