Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white ead. Has a malty pine hoppy aroma with some grapefruit hints. Malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with some hints of pine needles. Long hoppy bitter finish with hints of grapefruit and a hoppy bitter aftertaste. omhper (26035) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 23, 2002

Cloudy light amber color with compact persistent head. The aroma is nice, hoppy, a bit funky too. Smooth mouthfel, some malt flavor, moderately sweet; strong bitterness, with a light funky and vegetable character, probably there is a light infection here, but it’s still an enjoyable beer.
On tap at LaConner, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out piney hops, light spiciness and a crisp crackery malt. Flavour is very well-balanced, with floral hops, light spiciness, pine and a biscuity malt backing. Lots of depth to this while still maintaining a thin enough palate to be drinkable. Great one. Golden-amber colour. Grapefruity aroma with notes of caramel and wood. Low carbonation is a bit strange, but it adds to the resiny quality of the hops. Sweet malts walking somewhere in between fresh bread and caramel balance things off. Dry, citric and a bit piney in the finish, with a syrupy sweetness. The carbonation buggers up the mouthfeel though.
12oz bottle acquired in trade with Larry Pitonka (thanks!). Poured a mediu and lighlty hazy orange color with a small sized white head. Aroma of buttered popcorn with maybe some caramel. Tastes of lighter butter, caramel, and pine and citrus. I couldn’t get past the nasty aroma. bu11zeye (13288) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 29, 2004
(Bottle) Pours a copper color with a medium-sized white head. Has an aroma of fingernail polish remover and moderate hops. A fairly mild hops flavor for an IPA. The version not nearly as good as the dry hopped version. deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 30, 2010
Bottle thanks to Suzygreenberg! Pours a hazy orange with a slight amber hue and a medium off-white/gray head. Aroma is earthy with notes of grass, pine and a bit of bread. Flavor has a nice combination of grass and bread notes. jcwattsrugger (12579) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 5, 2007
