Clean yet hearty palate, a little dry but still solid microbrew, slightly fruity and spicy hops...Good bold pilsner

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - NOV 20, 2015
Draft. Clear gold, good lacing. Aroma is pretty subdued. Biscuit and grass. Not an aggressively hopped pils, but an easy and crushable one. Medium bitterness. Light mineral/sulfur. Overall: not bad.

mcberko (20253) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 17, 2015
On tap at LaConner, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out crisp crackery malt, some grass and corn. Flavour is very thirst-quenching, with grass, crisp crackery malt and again with the corn. Crisp, highly drinkable and balanced. Very good pils.

Draught at the brewpub
Blond color, quite clean. Dry beer, a bit grassy, maybe also green, with correct bitterness, but not much malt detected. Also, some aroma of corn.

OldMrCrow (2447) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Tap at the brewery 11/29/13

Light pour, grassy nose with just a slight sour tinge. Hops are forward but this isn’t dry like the best of pilsners. OK.

hayduke (5742) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Draft at the brewpub in LaConner. Came a very light yellow color with a thin white head. Nose mild with grassy hops. Light body and mouthfeel. Flavor mild with a good balance of hops and malts. Light bitter finish. True to style and easy drinking.

Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 18, 2011
Stylistically, this one seemed a bit off. Even if it were trying to be a Bohemian Pilsner. For one, it was undercarbonated. And for two, it was way too sweet and yeasty, with big notes of bread dough and sweet bread; and hops took a back seat. Subtle flowery hop aromas were nice, but bitterness was too mild to balance things out. Overall it was drinkable, but unexciting and on the fringe of the style.
