Honey fortifications embolden the citrusy yeast and alcohol heat...Hoppy pine mangroves flourish within and create an inherently American territory...Interspersed clouds sometimes burst and droplets of water lighten the atmosphere... Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 3, 2004
Huge amount of sediment in the bottle, but pours cloudy yellow, thin white head. Very nice aroma - mango, walnuts, some smoke, even some chocolate, but the especially the fruity mangoish aroma. Champaigne-like on the tongue. The first flavors are fruity, smoky, banana, and some nuttiness. Some alcohol is apparent, but not overwhelming. Very nice. It has a hand written "#105" on the bottle - batch number? Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 30, 2004
Hazy golden hue. Thin white collar. Very hoppy and citrusy nose for a tripel. Flowery and grapefruity hops dominate the doughy yeast and subdued toasty malt. Toasty and fruity palate. Banana concentrate, thick citrus juice. Very soft carbonation, nice medium body. Ultimately, after the initial hop schock, this is not particularly complex nor displaying enough malt deepness to be as classy as the competition, but it’s a successful attempt at originality. Centennial-hopped tripel? TimE (5829) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAR 16, 2004
White wine nose with a flowery orange mouth and lingering rich finish. Did grab me for the style, but still not bad. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - DEC 6, 2004
Light orange gold color. Large white foamy head. Aroma is fruity nad sweet. A medium bodied tripel. Malts are fruity and sweet. Very bright yeasts. Lots of funk. Fairly smooth taste. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Thanks again to Dr Bill for sharing.

Sweet fruity brown sugar aroma. Rather pleasant in appearance - hazy orange-yellow with shy white head that diminishes to cover. Plenty of black flecks of suspended yeast. Swet, malty and fruity with orange-citrus hop flavour. Smooth and creamy palate. Bottle #52. Enjoyed with MartinT and Rastacouere. Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 5, 2004
This triple pours with a very cloudy, yellow body topped by a thick head with lots of lacing. This beer smells like an aged cheddar. Ugh, I like aged cheddar but not in my beer. The flavor is sweet and fruity with lots of candy sugar notes. It very sweet. Full bodied, tingly on the tongue and slightly dry. Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 26, 2003
Very impressive bananna yellow color, perfect for the style. Great head retention, looks great in the glass. Citrus flavors all over this one. Excellent mouthfeel, nice touch of dryness. Only problem is the slight alcohol sting in the finish, if that wasn't there this would be an amazing tripel. heykevin (1281) - Decorah, Iowa, USA - MAR 14, 2004
Pale gold, witha spicy perfumey aroma. Some alcohol as well. Spicy flavor with good yeastiness as well. Juicy malt character. Good without being amazing. JCW (1278) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 15, 2003
Golden color, translucent with a big frothy white head. Fruity, yeasty, and sweet. Must have lots of candi sugar in it. This a very decent triple. A bit too sweet but very drinkable.
