Cloudy blond color, unfortunately served with a lemon wedge. Dry, moderately grassy and spicy, with some wheat flavor; low-ish bitterness.
On tap at LaConner, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite floral, with biscuity malt and light floral notes. Flavour is likewise quite floral, with flowery notes and soft pillowy wheat. Very soft on the palate and easy to drink. Solid stuff. Oakes (17700) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 21, 2005

Musty, yoghurty aroma. Very pale, hazy, soft body. Lightly phenolic, creamy. Lacks spice. It’s sweet, but in an underhopped way, not in a big malt way. The lack of esters and spice is pretty surprising, given the style, and it leaves the beer with nothing to offer.
on tap-pours a thin retaining white head that laces and hazy straw color. Aroma is wheat, citrus, then funky wheat. Taste is wheat, citrus, secondary grassy/spice hops. OK effervescence. Well, I’m guessing some changes have happened here, as there wasn’t one standout on my quaffs, and the ‘previous’ ratings would leave one with a different expectation.

Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy lemony yellow with light gray head and lace. Steady rising carb even in a very narrow tasting glass. Nice sweet banana nose. Mild, somewhat fizzy body, but very pleasantly drinkable. Wheat sourness really takes the stage on the mid-palate and the beer showcases it perfectly. Interesting mild spicy clove toward the end. Clean, slightly yeasty finish. hayduke (5222) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 28, 2011
The draft pout came titled a wheat, but it was a german hefeweizen and pretty darn good one at that. I came in the glass a hazy light butterscotch with a medium white head and moderate lacing. Banana and clove nose with some citrus notes. Medium body and slick mouthfeel. Flavor is banana, clove, and light citrus, and lots of clove in the finish. Well done. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 7, 2009

Banana aroma with citrus notes. Cloudy, pale yellow colour, white head, good lace. Light sweet to sweet in the finish, light bitter, fruity but not really banana nor citrus. Light bodied, lightly sparkling. OK brew but not exceptional.
Banana liqueur appearance with a thick, foamy head. Fruity aroma with intermingling boquet of clove, banana, and esters that have an artificial quality. The body is light--the flavor (banan/clove) seems to exist only on the surface layer and disappears rapidly. It has a cardboard fruit taste as well.
