The draft pout came titled a wheat, but it was a german hefeweizen and pretty darn good one at that. I came in the glass a hazy light butterscotch with a medium white head and moderate lacing. Banana and clove nose with some citrus notes. Medium body and slick mouthfeel. Flavor is banana, clove, and light citrus, and lots of clove in the finish. Well done. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 16, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy lemony yellow with light gray head and lace. Steady rising carb even in a very narrow tasting glass. Nice sweet banana nose. Mild, somewhat fizzy body, but very pleasantly drinkable. Wheat sourness really takes the stage on the mid-palate and the beer showcases it perfectly. Interesting mild spicy clove toward the end. Clean, slightly yeasty finish. Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - NOV 20, 2015
Draft at LaConner. Cloudy yellow-gold pour; irregular white lacing. Aroma is big on bubblegum, cloves, banana, and toasted wheat. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter short finish. Medium carbonation, a bit on the flabby side. Overall: this is decent, and way better than the 2.8 average would suggest. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 7, 2009

Banana aroma with citrus notes. Cloudy, pale yellow colour, white head, good lace. Light sweet to sweet in the finish, light bitter, fruity but not really banana nor citrus. Light bodied, lightly sparkling. OK brew but not exceptional.
On tap at LaConner, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite floral, with biscuity malt and light floral notes. Flavour is likewise quite floral, with flowery notes and soft pillowy wheat. Very soft on the palate and easy to drink. Solid stuff. doubleipa (224) - Georgia, USA - OCT 19, 2006
Had this on tap at the LaConnor pub. Specifically requested this without a lemon. Came with a lemon. "That’s the way we server it", said the waitress. Whatever! Absolutely no head. Nice cloudy yellow color in the appropriate type glass. At least this one wasn’t frosted (see my review of the IPA). Completely flat on the palate, but with a decent taste for the style. I didn’t finish it. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - JUL 16, 2008
german hef? this is so clear, i would figure it a kristal. close enough. super clear light yellow/gold. minimal head, soft aromas of lemon and wheat, i cannot find anything else there. dusty and soft, very easy drinking, though fairly simple and one dimensional. certainly not a bad beer or unflavorful one, just kinda plain. Cloudy and gold. Malt sweetness had notes of white cake and yeast. Moderate amount of hops showcased an herbal zing. Estery hints of banana and clove. Tingly and refreshing up front, but then it becomes sticky and somewhat cloying in the finish. Decent wheat. OldMrCrow (2444) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Very light pour, sourness forward, more us wheat than hefe. Ok but not good.
