Cask at the Buck, Rumburgh, Suffolk. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, fruit and hop. Medium sweetness, heavier bitterness. Cask at The Leeky Tap, Leek. A clear deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of melon, some lemon, slight grapefruit, light pale malts and subtle floral hops. Taste of melon, lemon, subtle grapefruit, some white bread and slight floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, bittersweet, melon and floral hop bitterness in the finish. Pint at Blue Boar, Aldbourne. To look at, light amber with slight cloud. Shallow white head which dissipates with deep lacing. Aroma lacking with no real strength - slight hint of pineapple. A golden Amber coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light fruity hop aroma, citrus and tropical fruits, lime, lemon, melon and a touch grassy. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is a mildly bitter hop flavour. Lots of citrus fruit elements, lime and lemon, plus a slightly sweeter galia melon element. The finish is short lived and fruity. Cask @ 38th.
