Bottle 500ml. (Thanks SaintMatty) A hazy yellow colour with a small white head. An aroma of bread, caramel. A medium body, thin texture, average carbonation and a short duration.

SaintMatty (7362) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2012
500ml Bottle - Hazy gold/yellow in colour. Lemon, malt and corn in the aroma. Sweet, malty and slightly tangy taste with notes of lemon, honey and banana.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2012
My wife took this beer home from her plane stopover in Latvia to get to norway in 2009. It’s an ok ordinary lager, nothing bad to tell and nothing to get enthusiastic about.

28th May 2006.
Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Riga. Less gassy lager with a slightly fruity note. Respectable.

JonnyDr (132) - , Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2008
Copper coloured pour with short lasting frothy head. Light malty taste with vegetable middle and sweet finish. Refreshing.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 26, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2008 Bottle in Riga. Perfectly all right lager, but there is some boiled carrot in here that puts it down - not as good as the average Latvian beer. Malts, hops, ok balance.

faroeviking (10911) - FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 2, 2008
Bottle. Pours an amber colour with meadium white head. Sweetish hoppy bit cardboard aroma. The flavour is dry with malt and some hops. Dry finish.

Tranquillity (2326) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2008
Big frothy head, quite light. Buttery aroma. A bit of butter and even some milk in the taste. Quite pleasant finish.

asedzie (826) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 22, 2008
Pours dark amber with white head. Soapy, grassy hop aroma. Fresh smelling. Flavor is sweetish caramel malt, green grassy hop bitterness. Palate is oily. Just ok. Like the bitterness but it tastes a bit industrial.

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 13, 2008
500ml bottle. Shared with Tranquillity - sorry! Thin lager aroma, hint of butter maybe - sour, creamy, lactic, and a bonus hint of nasty. Got worse over time. However, this and the previous 4 Latvian beers have got Tranquillity drunk, so at least the brewer has achieved one of its aims.
