Bottle, at RBNAG -09, courtesy of Sigmund. A clear, dark amber beer topped by a small, off-white head. Butterscotch, caramel and fruity notes on the nose, quite pleasant considering the butterscotch. The flavor has caramel and some butterscotch, lower levels than in the aroma. Fruity flavors balance the whole thing. Medium body feeling a bit watery, quite dry. Caramel finish. A decent beer, nothing more. 091107 Beer5000 (6441) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 12, 2010

2009 in Vatlandsvåg. A finger of lightly tanned bubbles upon a hazed, reddish amber body. Toffee-ish malts and red fruits on the nose. Clean and rounded malt flavor, on the drier side, with a note of toffee, all-spice and mild bittering hops. Smooth and slick in the mouth. Clean malty, light fruity finish. Well-made, good drinkabilty.
Bottle, at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg, thanks to my beer pal Olav. Deep sherry-like colour, moderate head. The flavour has notes of caramel but is otherwise fairly dry, moderate hops and hints of burnt caramel in the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit watery.
