On tap for my brother’s birthday. Poured a dark gold/amber. Aroma and flavor came across much more like an IPA than an English Pale Ale. Quite good. Aroma of citrus, flowers, caramel, with a slight sugariness. Flavor was the same. Well balanced and quite hoppy for the EPA style. A bit tingly in the finish which was nice. Very nice beer. can8ianben (1538) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2010
A really wonderful IPA. Plenty of citrus and pine in the aroma, but the flavor breaks out some vegetal craziness that I wasn’t expecting. Really a delicious beverage that I wouldn’t mind having over and over again. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - FEB 10, 2012

Cask days 2015, deScription said it was brewed with experimental hop 07270. Nice citrus nose, lots of zesty oils, grapefruit, some mango. Medium bitterness, pithy finish, more citrus juice. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - JAN 24, 2010

Draught at the pub on my birthday. Thanks for not cranking this IPA up to an 11. This was a pleasantly mild IPA that had nice citrusy hops with some pith included and a nice balance with sweeter malt. Very easy drinking and not palate-crushing bitterness...sometimes that’s nice. On tab at brewhouse. Floral aroma, dark yellow pour. Good bitter flavor with a juniper floral type flavor. A bit bright on the palate but a decent ipa.

Tap at Ladyface. Clear orange with webby lacing. Nose is house yeast, fresh oranges, fresh pale grist, something body odor like. Taste is juicier than the Amarillo apa but with a similar mega dry finish verging on tannic astringency. Aroma highlight.
