I’m not a Belgian blonde fanatic, but the bartender recommended and I obliged. Light and pleasant without too much Belgian funk. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Clear light golden color/ white head. pale malt, light fruit, bready, mild spice aromas. Light bodied with soft co2. Earthy pale malt sweet flavors with coriander, black pepper--drying finish--decent ekoerper (599) - Iowa, USA - DEC 5, 2011
Subtle aroma - light malts, faint fruity esters, a touch of hops. Pours a faintly hazy light golden color, thin white head, leaves some lacing. Nice refreshing flavor, light grains, bit of yeast, some spice in the background. Light body, medium carbonation. Very approachable, a good session brew. brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 19, 2011
On-tap at Ladyface
A: The beer pours a clear, pale yellow color with a small, finger tall, white head.
S: Smells sort of bland. A bit of yeast and sweet pale malts, but that’s about it. A little bit of spice and fruit esters to it, but not all that great. Just a hint of floral hop character, perhaps a touch of banana.
T: The flavor is enjoyable in its simplicity. While most of the characteristics are the same as the nose, they are more pronounced. A touch of white pepper, banana, apple, and sweet, pale malts. Light spice notes, a bit of yeast, and a mild bitterness on the finish.
M: Light bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation.
O: Not the greatest smelling beer, but nice and light, actually a decently well done blonde. pushkinwow (2781) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUL 23, 2011
Sample tray. Pale yellow with off white head. Light aroma - grains, sweet, bit of malt and belgian yeast. Starts a bit like a lager, slightly sweet, wel carbonated, ends a bit dry and bitter.

I had this on tap at Ladyface Alehouse. As others have noted, Ladyface has produced a "blonde" that has a lot more flavor & character than is typically seen for this style. Good job! can8ianben (1538) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2010
Wow - this is a style that I don’t normally enjoy, however this was a really nice offering. Somewhat nuttier than normal - maybe a malty cereal nuttiness? Blond color of course. Really a well made beer for the intro offering for newbies at a microbrewery. bhops (433) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 7, 2010
really fresh. tap at the restaurant. light apple juice color with minimal head. aroma is nice and clean, yeast with some sweetness. flavor is nice, some spice, apple, hay, smooth and refreshing. travita (4985) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 21, 2010
Bottle thanks to bman113vr. The look is golden in color, clear, and has a white head. The smell is caramel, floral, malts, slightly weak, and ok. The taste is caramel, floral, and malts. BelgianBeerGal (4038) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAY 15, 2010
Draught at the brewery on my birthday.Makes sense that this is in the Belgian category and not the blonde/goldens. Pours with a slightly hazy gold-yellow colour with a medium white head and a little lacing. Aroma is dry grass and pulpy/meaty fruits plus Belgian yeast and some candy sugar. Taste is sweeter than expected but then the Belgian yeast and some spice balance that out. Dry finish. Much more than I expected for a "blonde".
