(Hand bottle, courtesy of BMan1113VR) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus, nuts, pear, florals, and earth. Flavor of toasted grain, earth, grass, delicate florals, and Belgian yeast. emagana (38) - Fillmore, California, USA - APR 8, 2010
On tap as part of a sampler. A light straw yellow color with a white lingering head. Aromas of light spice and buiscuits. Smoothand refreshing with hints of grainy weat. Definatly citrus after flavor. Not a bad summer beer. iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - MAR 25, 2010
On tap at Ladyface. Hazy golden with a one and a half finger white head, fair retention. Belgian yeast with some lemon and pear atop a wheaty background. Flavor is just a little sweet--blindy, it reminds me of their wit with the spice and wheat notes, but it’s lacking the perfumery florals (not as strong here, anyway). Back on track there is light toasty malts and some grassy hay notes, however light. Bitterness peaked at a 2, slightly herbal in the semi-dry finish. Light to moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Much more than I expected by the name. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - MAR 21, 2010
Bottle thanks to bman1113vr. Pours a hazy blond with white fizzy head. Aroma of hints of light fruit, grain and a bit of corn. Flavor has a light citrus note with some grain, faint vegetable, faint eart with a touch of hoppy bitter. Mouth feel is light body, a bit watery with high carbonation. Overall, not all that bad! Draugt at the brewpub. Hazy gold with a white head. Lightly spicy Roma with toas and bready malt. The flavor has a nice bready malt and subtle spice with a bright fruitiness that is also restrained. Hops are mild with a light spicy touch and mild bitterness. Light bodied and a little creamy. Nice stuff. Very clean tasting and drinkable overall. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - JAN 24, 2010
big cereal taste. bold but not sharp. pretty fizzy too. bright yellow in color. a bit corn pop-py upon further drinking. totally different from the cask version that adds saaz hops.
