Black pour, tan head. Aroma of hops and some malts. Flavor is very sweet for a stout, with a hoppy finish to combat what one might think was going to be smooth. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 7, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2010 Sample from a bottle at the Day Before Labor Day party. Pours dark brownish-black with a medium beige head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and mild coffee. Medium body with flavors of roasty coffee, sweet malt and chocolate. The finish is roasty with a lightly bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Decent Stout overall.

Sampled from the tap at the 2010 GTMW. Poured black with a gray brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had lots of roasted malts with some dark grains and a slight oat note. Flavor was bitter with roasted grains and a hint of underlying oat. gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Had this one on draught as part of a sampler at the brewpub in Lafayette, Indiana. Opaque dark brown pour with a coffee and soy sauce nose, very sweet chocolate and bitter coffee balanced out into an outstanding oatmeal stout. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 29, 2010

The flavor is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and tobacco. Medium-thick, slightly creamy mouthfeel and low carbonation. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 6, 2010
