Bouteille 500ml.

Light brown, creamy head. Somewhat watery, but that’s kind of expect from a 5% brown ale. Aromas of nuts, toasted malt. Taste very similar to the aromas, but with some more bitterness. Moderate light carbonation. Not bad at all, just not very complex.

Toasted is one thing, this was over roasted. Very dry, like eating poached wheat. Sugar in finish, doesn’t help/

pours almost clear light brown, bright mahogany, with a frothy and creamy light beige head, good retention and lacing. tons of fruity toastiness, lightly burnt yummy toasts indeed, earthy spicy hops - potent; bitter chocolate and cocoa nibs, gently burnt hazelnuts, ristretto coffee, obvious english yeast, lots of minerals, lots of peppercorns. moderate carbonation, light body - oily and creamy; dryingly bitter spicy-earthy finish. perhaps too bitter to be a classic english brown ale, but everything about it is english from its marmelade peaks to its very frtuiy roastiness. solid brown ale.

Style et résumé: Brown ale.
Comment: Bouteille de 500ml. Embouteillée 09/16
Description: Une belle bière brune noisette assez foncée. Correcte.
Note: 7/10

Bière brune des plus classique. Mousse abondante.

Superbe.

On tap @Lagabiere. Aroma: nuts, caramel, roasted malt. App: clear brown with red tint and some lacing. Nice medium head. Fizzy carbonation. Taste and Palate: medium body, light-medium bitter dry finish. Overall: body to thin but still an ok beer.

On tap (5 oz) @ Lagabière

Appearance: Dark amber with a medium off-white/beige head and good lacing.

Aroma: Mild. Toasted malt, nutty presence and light frutiness.

Taste: A bit stronger than aroma. Again, toasted malt and nutty presence. Light fruity presence. Light bitterness.

Palate: Medium body, but a tad watery. Moderate carbonation. Short finish.

Overall: Exactly what you can expect from an average Brown Ale. It lacks depth and body. It’s easy to drink, but bland.

Poured from a tap. Medium brown color, medium off white head nice lacing. Not much of an aroma. Light body with a very faint roasted malt flavor with a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
