Poured from a 33cl bottle at home. Dark brown-orange with a white, quickly diminishing head. Very strong vegetable aroma with slight caramel and grain. Flavour has far less of a vegetable kick (fortunately). Alcohol aftertaste. Medium watery-oily body. Light carbonation. Simply just not my thing anstei (2743) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - APR 4, 2016
Bottle at Monday Club Zurich. Flowers and honey, but not that much. Crisp carbonation, seems to be a theme with this brewery. A bit like black tea with milk and honey. Slightly sour. SinH4 (6559) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 25, 2016

[ As LägereBräu Stella Maris ].
[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, biscuit malt, caramel, sweet malt, sugary malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Wenig herber, mild würziger Antrunk. Etwas intensiver im Mittelteil, kaum hopfig, hell. Schnell fällt das Bier in seinem milden Trott zurück, langweilig. 8/8/9/7/7/7

Bottle 33 cl from Gourmiland (CH). Hazy coppery-amber with a nice cream head collapsing quickly. Fresh malted aromas, flowery, caramel, hint of hay. The taste is similar, malted, barely sticky with notes of honey without excessive sucrosity, cereals, hay and herbs. Minor but adaquate bitterness. Drinks pleasantly without any effort. But why Stella Maris. bartlebier (4214) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 29, 2014

Tasting II. Pours a golden amber. Some dry meadow honey in the nose, malt base tastes dry and biscuity, somewhere between a nutty ESB and caramel ambrée, while the hop profile remains reticent, with a late subtle floral appearance. Not one to proselytise, but decent enough.

Amber color with a red copper hue, medium sized head. Nice aroma, biscuity, some bread. Smooth mouthfeel, highly carbonated; some caramel flavor, with cereals aftertaste; moderate bitterness.
Not bad, but it could be more daring.
