Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig fruchtig, exotische Früchte. Geschmack sehr fruchtig malzig, lange Bitterkeit. Leighton (21879) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, bright copper with a medium, frothy white head. Nose holds some light spice, toasty malts, some grains. Light to medium sweet flavor, bit of dry caramel in there, some dark grapefruit, orange. Medium bodied with fine to average, creamy carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, some lightly resinous, toasty pine, mild dry caramel, very mild tangy fruits, a bit of toasted, whole grain bread. Quite a nice beer, certainly interesting. Drinks well below its ABV - impressively so. Good stuff. fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 24, 2012

Hazy amber color; medium sized compact head. Very nice American hop aroma, and sweet malt. Good body strength, but almost not sweet; still the caramel and hop flavor is good.
A different take.
Süß hopfiger Antrunk, würzig, rund. Süß bleibend, auch die Hopfigkeit bleibt erhalten. Vollmundig, süffig malzig. Gut! 11/12/11/12/12/11 mcberko (18434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 18, 2014
On tap at La Fine Mousse, pours a hazy ruby red / amber with a medium beige head. Nose is very fruity, bringing out resinous hops, syrupy caramel malts, and some stone fruits. Flavour is very similar, on the maltier side for a double IPA, bringing out syrupy caramel malt, resinous hops, dried dark fruits, and some alcohol. Residual sugar content is fairly high and the malt base is too syrupy and prominent. Decent, but haphazard double IPA. bhensonb (15505) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours dark hazy amber. Aroma is lightly oxidized hop, but there’s a fair amount of hop here. Med body. Flavor is medicinally hoppy. There’s a sweet undertone, but it persists in coming across as dry and mildly astringent. I’d never have thought a wheat ale could have this much flavor.
