4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light orange, gold color. Two finger eggshell head. Aroma is huge tropical fruit, citrus, light pine. Taste is hop forward with malt sweetness finishing up. Creamy, full mouth feel. Overall an outstanding offering from Lagunitas.
A big, bold beer. Not for the faint of heart. However, the taste is actually rather smooth, due to the low IBU level. beer_rookie (661) - Arkansas, USA - NOV 12, 2017
Pours a clear golden color. Two fingers cream colored head. Head lasts and lasts. Good retention, good lacing.ehaak26 (710) - - NOV 4, 2017
Aroma is pineapple! I'm pleasantly surprised. Also orange, light pine. Not a lot of bitter hops. Smells great!
Taste is well balanced. It smelled sweet, but has enough hops to balance. Pineapple, pine, orange, apricot, peach. Lots going on here. Delicious!
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A little chewy. Very drinkable. Alcohol is very well hidden.
Overall, this is outstanding. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again. It's super duper.
Bottle from Hegedorn's. Pours a yellow orange with thick white head. Aroma of wheat and citrus hops. mjdhobbs (13) - - OCT 24, 2017
Aromas were a little disappointing straight out of the gate. It had very faint grass and citrus. Flavors are also kinda mellow with citrus and grass. It is a drinkable beer but a bit of a let down tightslice (1438) - Redwood City, California, USA - OCT 21, 2017
Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, overripe pineapple, pine sap. Taste is citrus and herbal marmalade. Super thick and sappy. What you would expect from Lagunitas.

from a 12 oz bottle into a FBD glass. The aroma is thick hoppy resiny piney thing with a caramel piss color. The flavor is a strong hoppy early 2000s style bitter wallop of wavy hop fields and citrusy undercurrents. It is fairly palatable for a 8.7% abv but this one isn't fooling anyone, it is a boozy sipper. Good for souping and best showing in the kitchen on a poopy pizza tummy 2sday. bth122 (1641) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 1, 2017
Draft at Mad Mex. straw color with medium head. Aroma is fresh tropical fruit. Taste is tropical citrus hop and pine. Medium heavy bitter. Average carbonation. Some warming alcohol. Medium body. It's good.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2017 Smells like an IPA rich and very Hoppy. Head is white and goes away a few min but has excellent lacing. When I was done my glass had rings all down it. The taste is excellent. Hops, citrus, piney, finishes smooth and slightly bitter. orbit (230) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 26, 2017
Good ale with some spicey notes and fruity tones. It's not exactly an IPA, but related, good drinker higgsbison (268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2017
A very interesting and curious brew. Highly malted and highly hopped. You could also really taste the yeast too. But what makes it so curious is a very strong and definitely note of grapefruit in the aftertaste. It could almost be fermented grapefruit juice if the hops and malts weren't so prevalent. The grapefruit sourness keeps you from kicking it back . I think it is a good beer but One I find more interesting than quaffable
