Lots of wheat for a curious malt complexity and leaving it light in color, but huge in flavor and satisfaction
Net contents: Ounces and ounces of Malt, Hops, Yeast and water.

As of late I can not find the time to take tasting notes of each beer I sample. I would like to track and record my thoughts of each so I will just use the simple scoring rubric until more time is available.

bottle from wegmans. Considering the bac, this is a top notch. Can't really taste much hops but that is fine, and its enjoyable. Finish is a bit boozy, but sweet boozy. Good beer, not the best for me

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2018 on tap at Eureka, Mountain View. Not exactly what I hoped for, given how much I like regular Sumpin'. Resin, pine, citrus. Still good.

Rated on 12-30-2017. Bottle. The appearance is a medium sized off-white smooth mostly lasting head, transparent bright golden body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma presents citrus hops, some pine hops, hops, fruity, pineapple, grapefruit, grassy, sweet, caramel, and pale malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops, tropical fruit, fruity, hops, grapefruit, caramel malt, medium-heavy sweetness, and a burnt finish. The mouthfeel is moderate-lively carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This is a very refreshing beer and another very tasty Lagunitas beer. It is very, very tasty, worth trying and a beer that I will drink again.

Moderately hoppy ale. Distinct taste, but I️ can’t quite decide what the flavor is coming from. Moderate-heavy ale. Wouldn’t be drinking more than 1-2 in an evening. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A big, bold beer. Not for the faint of heart. However, the taste is actually rather smooth, due to the low IBU level.

Pours a clear golden color. Two fingers cream colored head. Head lasts and lasts. Good retention, good lacing.

Aroma is pineapple! I'm pleasantly surprised. Also orange, light pine. Not a lot of bitter hops. Smells great!

Taste is well balanced. It smelled sweet, but has enough hops to balance. Pineapple, pine, orange, apricot, peach. Lots going on here. Delicious!

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A little chewy. Very drinkable. Alcohol is very well hidden.

Overall, this is outstanding. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again. It's super duper.

Bottle from Hegedorn's. Pours a yellow orange with thick white head. Aroma of wheat and citrus hops.

Aromas were a little disappointing straight out of the gate. It had very faint grass and citrus. Flavors are also kinda mellow with citrus and grass. It is a drinkable beer but a bit of a let down

tightslice (1536) - Redwood City, California, USA - OCT 21, 2017
Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, overripe pineapple, pine sap. Taste is citrus and herbal marmalade. Super thick and sappy. What you would expect from Lagunitas.

meccahh69lol (366) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - OCT 17, 2017
from a 12 oz bottle into a FBD glass. The aroma is thick hoppy resiny piney thing with a caramel piss color. The flavor is a strong hoppy early 2000s style bitter wallop of wavy hop fields and citrusy undercurrents. It is fairly palatable for a 8.7% abv but this one isn't fooling anyone, it is a boozy sipper. Good for souping and best showing in the kitchen on a poopy pizza tummy 2sday.
