A very solid IPA, much better than the normal IPA. Pours a crisp orange with a white head that laces nicely. Nose and taste are of pine hops. Very easy to find the bottom of the glass and the end of the 6 pack.

Bottled @ cgarvieuk’s Need some Cupboard Space tasting. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Nose is grapefruit, juicy passion fruits. Flavour is sweet hoppy, grapefruit, juicy, slightly dry and fairly bitter. Fairly bitter finish. Quite sweet, but still with a good hop bitterness.

State week month, day 1 Oct 1st. State: California.

The beer pours a pale color, slightly hazy with a big white head and plenty of lace.

The aroma is peachy & piney... not a lot of citrus but maybe a little tiny bit of cat pee, but not really in the pungent disgusting way (if that makes any sense).

The flavor is really quite fruity and nice loads of fruity hop flavors of peach and melon are abound. There is certainly an orangey citrus flavor here too. The beer is not dry but it’s not annoyingly sweet. It’s plenty bitter which is nice when you’ve got that blast of fruity hoppiness throughout. There is a tad more alcohol hotness in the finish than would usually be desirable but otherwise I really quite like it.

The mouthfeel is prickly with a high carbonation and the beer is carried with ease on the tongue, but that alcohol hotness does kill the finish a bit... and lingers.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2011 Bottle @ Craig Garvies. Strong spicy hoppy aroma. Golden yellow colour, not much head. Woody lemon hoppy flavour. Quite smooth with lingering citrus aftertaste. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 In bottle. Pours a light golden colour with a lacy white head. Lovely passion fruit, grapefruit and yeast notes. Alcohol quite present. Similar flavours with chewy caramel, yeast and barley. Nice dry finish (8,4,7,4 16). Also had this on keg at the BrewDog Bar. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pine, pineapple and caramel. Similar hoppy flavours upfront with plenty of passion fruit and some pineapple with a chewy caramel malt backbone. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Mildly bitter with lingering tangerines. Quite a dry finish. Nice and citrusy.

12oz bottle, rated in the notebook last night. Almost clear yellow color, thin persistent white head. Nice webby rings of lacing. ABV listed as 7.5%. Really nice, sweet resiny taste, but it’s not too thick - some sweet-citrus fruits in there. Some spice. Very light bitterness, light to moderate crisp carbonation. Mildly dry finish. All this makes for a very drinkable 7.5% IPA.
