Bottle. Pours a nice golden orange-like color with a frothy off white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with lots of grapefruit, some grassy notes, peach and abricot along with lots of sweet citrus fruit, like orange and some light sweet malty notes. The flavor is also nice and hoppy with some sweet malt to back it up, I get the grapefruit, sweeter citrus fruits like tangerine and orange, some peach and abricot too. The body is medium with a lightly dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty darn solid West Coast IPA!

The smell is phenomenal! Obviously, it smells like hops, but that’s all; no malty body. Poured hazy orange with creamy white head. Tastes like biting into a ripe strawberry. This really impressed me, but ipa’s are my favorite.

Appears orange gold in color. It’s half hazy...I can see my fingers through the glass but they’re blurry. Head is one-finger in size, but it fades. BAM! Wonderful aroma of PINE and a meld of citrus goodness in the likes of grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon. Amazing fresh hop oils. Sweet acidic citrus flavors dominate and invite the taste buds to the party. Lemon, orange, and grapefruit are the primary players. Sweet malt provides a subtle backdrop for the hop flavors to get their dance party on. A pleasant bitterness lingers after a crisp finish and mouthfeel. This is a bigger ale that deceptively acts light and refreshing while bitch slapping you with american citrus-hop goodness. I could see people accidentally having too many of these.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2015 355 ml bottle, from Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. ABV is 7.5%. 64.2 IBU, OG 1076. Golden colour, large white head. Very nice sweetish and fruity aroma, notes of American hops and pale crystal malts, hints of fresh orange marmalade. The flavour has a nice hoppiness throughout, but is unfortunately a bit too sweet for my taste. Bitter finish. Well worth sampling. Rerate: Bottle in California. Found it not too sweet this time. Very good beer.

A nice golden copper pour with a nice white head. Aroma of floral citrusy hops, with some nice fruity esters and malt. Taste is spicy fruity hoppiness, some light lemon with some sweet malt. Has a light to medium body with very nice carbonation, and a nice crisp mouth feel. Finish has a nice citrusy floral hops, with some fruity spicy character and some maltiness for balance, ending with a nice hoppy bite. Overall a surprisingly good crisp summer IPA.

This is the last of the "sumpin" beers I have tried, strangely enough. The aroma is earthy, musty, floral. The appearance is a slightly translucent amber color, white head. The flavor is earthy, caramel, some pine. The finish is floral and pine hops. Medium in body, slightly thin. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2012 12oz bottle. Pours semi-clear orange-yellow with a small egg shell head, very good lacing. Smell is of hops, floral, and citrus. Taste is tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, a little caramel, and a touch of wood bark. End is very hoppy but not over bitter. The dankest beer ever tried.
