On tap at the brickstore. Mine was distinctly yellow and a bright one at that with a nice white head on top. Wonderful, beautiful hops going on here. Citrus and pine in the aroma. Big fruit blast in the flavor up front and then it fades into a pleasant bitter citrus fruit, grapefruit, and a tinge of pine on the finish. The malt body is a little different here and not as heavy as a caramel malt based ipa or double. Lighter malt reminiscient of some wheat, is at play here. Overall, a very refreshing drink and perfect for 95 degrees on a Saturday afternoon. Lowe1983 (1681) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - JUN 26, 2009
Pours a lighter amber color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus hops, light caramel, and not much else. Flavor is light and malty at first but the finish is bitter from the citrus hops. Overall better than I would’ve hoped for. crzybob77 (530) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 26, 2009
I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this beer since the bottle didn’t really say much about the beer. But, my gamble paid off. This is a mighty tasty, very hoppy beer. The hop flavor is more citrus sweet than bitter. There was lots of head, but that’s probably just because i was sloppy with the pour. Overall, I am quite happy with this beer and might have to grab a six pack after trying this single. robforbes (2312) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - JUN 26, 2009
pours semi-clear orange-yellow with a small egg shell head, very good lacing.
smell is of hops, floral, and citrus.
taste is tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, a little caramel, and a touch of wood bark, end is very hoppy but not over bitter. Odeed (1807) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 26, 2009

Bottle. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Floral aroma with some pine also, the pine really increased as the beer opened up. Flavor is pure hops, but not overdone. Just a little malt sweetness lurking, but the hops are the show. Good bitterness, but the bitterness isn’t the story here. The hops are very well balanced throughout, the combination of aroma, bitterness, resinous sticky mouthfeel, and dry lingering hop finish is extremely well done. This is a summer beer for hopheads. tripelthreat (193) - Soquel, California, USA - JUN 24, 2009
Bottle. Golden body with a good sized white head that fades into a thin layer and leaves a little lacing. A big fruity aroma with some caramel and piney hops. Flavor is malty sweet and bitter, citric hops. There’s a funky finishing flavor that I can’t place that I’m not sure I really enjoy. Sticky mouthfeel. I’d give it another shot. Bright, sweet, super fruity aroma with some vanilla, caramel and light vinegar. Fair label, bright citrine gold. Sweet, honeyish, cakey, hoppy. Medium-heavy body, boozy on the lips. Interesting and good. Long hoppy finish, with more lady finger cake flavors. LilKem (1213) - Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 24, 2009
Lots of chocolate malts, lots of heavy malts and hops that give the beer perfume and elegance and some fruitiness that is defied by the smokiness and sugar that make this a litttle sumpin sumpin different.
