3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 10/6/12
Aroma: The nose is a mix of tropical fruits and resin/pine hops mostly, with some malty notes
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange color with a small foam of white head and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, it is fairly tropical, and it has a medium hop bitterness
Palate: The body of this one is medium, it has a soft carbonation, a creamy feel, and a somewhat dry finish
This rating is a long time overdue, as I have always really enjoyed A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’. This is really quality beer from Lagunitas, with a great hop presence. Good stuff for sure!

Pours clear copper orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of fruits, grass, hops, hints of spices. Taste is malty, sweetish and caramely with some fruity and grassy hops. Finish is sweetish and hoppy with caramely notes. Okay, quite typical but tasty American IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle from the Utah State Store. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A rich nose of citrus, lots of lemon. A really nice flavor: refreshing citrus, oranges and bitter lemon, clean and very tasty. This is a great IPA, simple but very clean and super tasty.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden with a huge white head. Aroma is piney and citrusy with some mild earthy notes. Taste is much the same but the malt is surprisingly prominent. Good lively carb.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2013 She gives you a beautiful, creamy blonde head on a crystal clear amber, not cloudy enough, but the head stays forever, nice and creamy. Aroma of sweet grapes - good sign of a great IPA, although allegedly it’s not supposed to be a true IPA, as it is made of wheat. And it is good! Nice, sweet and hoppy, you do get the fruits, the sweet apricot and the floral, but the use of hops is clever and not just an arrogant attitude, but a little sumpin. It’s kinky and the finish tells you you want a little more of that sumping. Sexy beer!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The "Jewel in the crown" of the recent shipment at the NEX. Clear, medium golden with a white head. Leaves nice lacing on the glass. Has an aroma that sends immediate warning signals to your taste buds, straight up Left Coast hop juice, just wonderful! Some sweet tangy fruity malts that try to balance of the industrial strength hops but they fall a bit short of the mark. Crisp and bracing, I do enjoy this beer and give props to the dreadlocked jazzman from Sacramento I talked with about this beer, you know your stuff my friend! Kampai!
