citrus, medium bitterness, lively, astringent, lively, . Nice thirst quencher. Hard to believe a 75.% abv. . Definitely dominated by the citrussy hop flavor. pinkie (470) - New York, USA - FEB 1, 2013
UPDATED: APR 8, 2013 Pours light gold and clear with two fingers of foam that won’t fall down. Lots of clinging lace. The nose is grapefruit, pine and a little resin. As it warms it smells like wheat and honey. The malt is a surprising standout in the glass. Bready and lots of biscuit. . The hops are vigorous earthy and herbal. Their spiciness is tamed down by the big malt character. What a surprise this beer was. A celebration of hops without being overly fruity or bitter. A celebration of pale malt that was straightforward and not overly sweet . Robust yet easy to drink with a lightly oily mouthfeel and a long dry finish. This beer really does have a little sumpin’ sumpin’. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JAN 30, 2013

I love this beer. A little sweet, mild spice, perfect amount of hops. A very aromatic beer with solid lacing.

Everything I like about an IPA. Hoppy, citrus notes and easy to drink. This could easily be a session beer.

Bottle: pours clear deep golden, bright white one finger head. Lots of carbonation. Distinct Lagunitas yeast, sweet malts, citrus and fresh pine on the nose. Flavors of mint, spruce hops, subtle caramel malts and quite milky smooth on the palate. Mint, grapefruit dryness with bitterness on the finish. Quite good

Pours a clear golden amber with a loose off-white head. The nose is of citric and piny hops over a solid biscuity malt backing. Medium-bodied and slightly grainy with a moderately bitter, lingering, resinous finish. The flavor is a big hit of citric hop notes (grapefruit, orange and star fruit) with a sweet, caramel malt backbone maintaining a sweet counterbalance into a lingering hop bitterness. A touch of pine joins the citrus notes in the finish and aftertaste. This is a big IPA that almost pushes into IIPA territory. Mattlax20 (5) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JAN 20, 2013 does not count
Clean, crisp, and refreshing . Nice balance of citrus and hops. neither flavor is overwhelming. Would make a great summer beer. Would definitely buy again.

Slightly hazy amber beer, little white head. Smooth silky palate, semi dry. Very sweet piney hops with a caramel malt backbone. Light dry finish. Something of an odd beer from this great brewer, The sweet pine is a bit cloying. Certainly drinkable but not up to usual Lagunitas standards.
