UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 Bottle, 33 cl. Golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and fruity/herbal hoppy with lots of lemony, peachy and piney notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, with sweet malts and a massive wall of citrus, pine and peach. A little grass. Medium bitter finish.

From bottle at Hops in New West. A very medium amber color with medium carbonation. Flavor wise itís hops upon hops upon hops, with a bit of malt backing it up. Very crisp, clean and refreshing. Nice one!

Itís ok but nothing remarkable. Tired it bottled and the first one not in a glass. Picked it up in a build your own in KC when it showed up on the fall beer list.

I drank this out of a glass. You can find glasses in your cupboard and if for some reason you have none, go to a store. My glass was capable of holding the entire beer but ths was my choice, you make your own decision of what your vessel of choice is. This beer smelled of tropical fruits delivered by fruit vendor in the south pacific. It was golden ruby in color and tasted of rich mahagony and leather (just kidding, it tasted awesome). The aftertaste made me crave more of its type and I did seek others. You should like this beer and if you donít, then you should find one that makes you crave more beer.

Yellowish gold, Smell is IPA-ish with a little light malt. First the hops hit your mouth with grapefruit, wet grass, and hay. The malts are only there to smooth things out. Just enough to avoid calling this an IPA. A nice warming finish rounds things out.

Almost clear golden copper body and stable frothy off white head. Nice American hop aroma, floral, pale barley and grass. Very rustic and yet professional. Solid bitterness, with only a mild bready maltyness as backup. Active carbonation. No easy drink, but a flavourful one. (On my Florida trip)

A: Hop-hazed gold color. Frothy white cap with some good retention. S: West coast in style. Resin, pine, and light citrus. Floral and spicy hops as well. Well rounded beer with a developed hop profile. Great beer and almost a more brazen Sculpin T: Quite balanced with delicate malts and a firm hop backing. I canít believe that I havenít reviewed this one yet. Just a solid example of a west coast IPA MF/O: Thick and creamy feel to it, passive carbonation. Just a solid beer - a go-to.

Pours a nice clear golden orange color with a small amount of head. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. Getting brown sugar, citrus, flowers, and a lot of malt. Taste is very sweet, like brown sugar. Lots of malt flavor for an IPA, hops almost take a back seat here. Very mild bitterness, brown sugar finish. I feel like I've gotten to point where I can pick out a Lagunitas beer by tasting it. Seems like they always have a sweet brown sugar flavor and it doesn't seem to fit right with most beers. It's not bad here but it kinda throws it off. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(35 cl bottle from Petit Patť; Brewed on the 96th day of 2012 meaning itís about 5 months old when consumed...) Pours a mostly clear light amber with medium, off-white head. Decent retention and lace. Aroma is hoppy, somewhat subdued with leafy and confectionary notes. I guess the nose on this one suffered somewhat from the lengthy time to market as is so often the case with American imports. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a short, slightly bitter finish. I feel like this summer ale is slightly old school considering the recent trend for lower ABV summer beers that are still hop-forward and tasty. Taste follows the nose with a slightly acidic twist. Decent beer and quite smooth tasting for the ABV - would love to taste it fresh.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 Poured a little chillhazed cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is amazing - sweet, piney hops, melon, a big waft of flowers, mollases and grapefruit. Quite full bodied, smooth, slick even with a wonderfully rounded sweetness and a long finish. Beautifully balanced, its sweetness is a great counterbalance to spicy food.
