On draft at Rustico in Arlington.
The beer is golden hued and pretty clear. The white head is about a quarter inch thick, leaving ample lacing on the glass. The aroma is nice, gaining strength as the beer is allowed to warm. Hops, citrus (particularly grapefruit) are the primary scents. The flavor takes things up a notch. Wow, what a delicious beer. Hop forward with ample contributions from citrus fruit. Easy to drink like juice. Minimal malt body and alcohol presence. Nice feel. I will be returning to this beer often. Recommended.

Bottle poured. Light golden in color. Strong hops aroma with hints of mint. Slow zip beer. Cheers! Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 17, 2012
0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a near clear, light blurry golden-honey colored one with a small quickly islandy and sidesticking off-white top. Licorice and piny hops hits the nose with this. Reminds much of a DIPA in the aroma. Thick, sweet and quite hoppy. Average on the carbonation with a soft oily mouthfeel. Citrussy flavors, pine lots of caramel and hops. Quite citrussy this, almost on the border of being a bit acidic. Grapefruit and grapefruit peel in the finish. Enjoyable. 18.10.2012 mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Pour from bottle. Looks like your average macrobrew light beer, but tastes oh so so much better. :) Awesome grapefruit smellin’ hops. $8.99 / 6 pack AdamGott (386) - Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA - DEC 9, 2012
light gold pour with little head - aroma of grapefruit and biscuit - really nice hop balance with lots of pine, grapefruit and just the right amount of bittering to go with the biscuity malt.

12 oz pours light orange little head, smells orange peels, toffee and floral. Tastes voluptuous of sweetness, slight bitterness, boozy wonderful balance. More please. Theydon_Bois (19506) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2012
Bottle at home thanks to Frank (Ramnuts) 04/12/12.
Pours clear golden with a thin off white head that soon clears to bubbles around the edge of the glass.
Nose is pine, hops, a little grass, light caramel, sugars, grapefruit and other tropical notes.
Great flavours to this IPA - bitter grapefruit, orange, light mango, hops, pine, light sugars, touch of lemon, caramel malt in the background.
Medium bodied with soft carbontation leading to a bitter sweet finish.
A solid IPA and would revisit over and over (if I wasn’t soo obsessed with scrathcing new beers obviously!). aplus01 (71) - North Carolina, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Clear golden in color. Moderate head. Aroma is loaded with fruit. Taste follows the nose with lots of mango and pinapple fruit flavor and a surprising amount of malt backbone. A very good ipa if you like the fruity component that simcoe brings to the table. GranvilleTim (1855) - Granville, Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Light amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma was fruity, some yeast also. Taste was fruity, sweet, nice malt flavor. Very tasty. Nice lacing. Thewade (340) - USA - NOV 28, 2012
Nicw brew. Slightly sweet, but not overdone. Tastes different than most IPA’s and since Tennessee doesn’t get this yet (real soon), it was a treat.
