[bottle] Pineapple hops aroma right away, followed by some light caramel and then, as the beer warms, some pine, scotch tape, and spiciness. Almost clear gold under an eternal, white, lacy cover. Flavour is an excellent balance of sweet, light caramel malt and hops: spicy and herbal. Faint lychee and kiwi fruit and other tropical fruit accents. Medium body, medium carbonation, faintly bitter finish.

Hoppy wheat beers exploded where I live recently and this one has been going on since before then. Aroma of citrus, candy like hops. Tastes hoppy. I'm guessing Centennial hops but don't quote me on that. Tasty and glad I have more.

One of the best ipa out there. Really smooth with a perfect blend of hops. Has a slight tinge if fruit and leaves little after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Another decent pale ale from Lagunitas; the site calls it an IPA but it seems more like an American to me, lighter and drier but more floral and sharp. More drinkable than one would expect either way given the ABV.

Really tasty balanced ale. Rich caramel malts like a nice brown but with good hop balance. Reminiscent (like the Sumpin’ Wild) of Rayon Vert to me.

Relatively clear and straw like golden colour. Floral aroma with some pine and resin. Taste has good bitterness and a solid caramel backbone. softly carbonated and medium body.

had this on tap as well as bottle the tap brew had a lot more hop character The tulip glass that was handed to me had a great three finger head with tons of lacing . The body was amber in color and a bit cloudy. The nose was hop forward nice citrus and floral I think the wheat adds to this. Another thing the wheat does is keep this beer light in the mouthfeel making it dangerous to drink. The flavor is bitter citrus’ with a light sweetness in the finish. Great carbonation and a fun beer to drink. Overall a good IPA hybrid, if I found it on tap I would not turn it down.

Poured from bottle. Copper color with white creamy head. Lots of aroma of grapefruit, citrus and pine. Taste follows. Bitter aftertaste.

An excellent IPA! Lagunitas doesn’t disappoint. Golden amber color, modest head, faint aroma of hops. When you take a sip that’s when the magic happens. A nicely balanced brew with big malt taste and a big hop finish.
